Bluecrop

Bluecrop is a favourite at Harris Road Farm! It produces very heavy crops of medium sized blueberries. Bluecrop ripens in mid season and the harvest continues for weeks. Most eat them fresh blueberries but they are also fantastic for pies and preserves. Bluecrop is a medium size fruit with a high sugar content.

Chandler

Chandlers are arguably the biggest blueberry available! Chandlers produce large, sweet and juicy berries that are most delicious fresh — and a perfect complement to your breakfast, but also suitable for baking. Chandlers are a mid-to late-season variety that ripens in July.

Northland

Northland is an early midseason variety and produces medium sized fruit. Northlands grow on long and loose clusters and is more flavorful than the typical highbush blueberry fruit. It is a unique variety that has a full taste but is also a smaller sized berry which are perfect for muffins and pancakes. Smaller berries let batter cook around it (unlike the big varieties). Northland berries freeze very well.

Blueberries are a source of dietary fibre, they are one of the top fruits with the highest antioxidant activity, neutralizing free radicals that can cause cancer, cardiovascular disease, and Alzheimer's disease!

Antioxidants retard aging, reduce cell damage (cause of cancer), cardiovascular disease and loss of brain function. Blueberries contain tannins, which prevents urinary tract infections and anthyocyanin (the blue pigment) reduces eyestrain.
